Vietjet has announced the launch of a new direct service linking Ho Chi Minh City with Manila. This latest addition to Vietjet’s growing international network will begin operations on November 22, 2025, with five round-trip flights per week, further enhancing air connectivity across Southeast Asia.
The new route marks Vietjet’s first direct connection between Vietnam and the Philippines, underlining the airline’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the region and facilitating seamless travel, trade, and cultural exchange. Both Ho Chi Minh City and Manila represent the beating hearts of Southeast Asia—now more connected than ever with Vietjet’s new service.
In 2025, the airline has already launched new routes to China, India, Japan, and Singapore, with additional services set to debut in the months ahead—further accelerating its global expansion.
Akasa Air expands footprint in Thailand
Akasa Air announced daily direct flights connecting Bengaluru with Phuket starting 1 October 2025. The new route builds on Akasa Air’s recently introduced daily direct service between Mumbai and Phuket, underscoring the airline’s commitment to expanding its presence in high-demand international destinations.
