DART Aerospace announced it has received a new EASA STC certification for the external cargo Heli-Utility-Basket specifically tailored for the Bell 505 aircraft.
The Bell 505 Heli-Utility-Basket, now certified under an EASA STC, is the latest addition to DART’s proven line of utility baskets. It complements DART’s existing Heli-Utility-Baskets for platforms such as the H125, Bell 407, R66, and AW119, as well as other helicopter models manufactured by Airbus, Bell, Leonardo, and Robinson.
Designed for both utility and VIP operations, the Bell 505 Heli-Utility-Basket offers quick and easy installation and provides a safe, external solution for carrying skis, cargo hooks, tools, equipment, and a wide range of mission-essential items. The basket is constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel and finished with a high-gloss, scratch-resistant white coating for long-term durability and a clean appearance.
Safety and ease of use are built into every detail. A simple self-locking handle ensures secure lid closure and keeps cargo safely contained during flight, while a gas spring assists with smooth and controlled lid opening and closing.
