Safran Nacelles has signed with Air Greenland a 12-year agreement for the support of the nacelles of their Airbus A330neo. Air Greenland will benefit from OEM guaranteed Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) solutions at Safran Nacelles repair station in Pont Audemer, France and will have access to a Safran Nacelles’ shared pool of nacelles end-items.

“Safran Nacelles is delighted to partner with Air Greenland to support their A330neo nacelle fleet,” said Alain Berger, Safran Nacelles’ Executive Vice President of Customer Support & Services. “We are fully committed to delivering services that meet the airlines’ MRO and spares needs.”

Air Greenland’s Technical Director Jørn Elfving Rasmussen said “We are entering the Airbus A330neo to our fleet. Our priority is providing best-in-class service to our customers. The support and expertise of the nacelle OEM ensures to keep our aircraft in operation with the highest level of quality.”

Safran signs NacelleLife deal with Play
Safran Nacelles has signed with the Icelandic airline Play a 12-year agreement for the support of the nacelles of their 15 Airbus A320neo powered by CFM LEAP-1A turbofan engines. Today, Play operates 7 aircraft. 8 more will join the fleet in the years to come. Play will have access to a Safran Nacelles’ shared pool of nacelles end-items. The airline will also benefit from OEM guaranteed Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) solutions at Safran Nacelles repair station in Pont Audemer, France.

Safran Nacelles’ repair services and spares resources are part of the company’s NacelleLife support program, which ensures responsive, cost effective and high-quality services that keep airliners in operational condition while minimising costs.
