Emirates and GAMECO (Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Company) have further deepened their long-term collaborationEmirates and GAMECO (Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Company) have further deepened their long-term collaboration by signing new agreements to expand heavy maintenance services for Emirates’ fleet. The partnership began in September 2023 with an agreement focused on the Airbus A380, of which Emirates is the world’s largest operator. Under this agreement, GAMECO established a nose-to-tail heavy maintenance line in Guangzhou to provide scheduled maintenance support for Emirates. Building on this success, in April 2025, both companies extended their cooperation to include a nose-to-tail heavy maintenance line for the Boeing B777.

The partnership between Emirates and GAMECO has proven to be a mutually beneficial, trust-based relationship, underpinned by operational excellence and a shared dedication to quality. To mark this growing collaboration, Emirates and GAMECO today signed new multi-year agreements that include the extension of the existing Airbus A380 and Boeing B777 heavy maintenance lines.

Dr. Marc Szepan, General Manager of GAMECO, said: “We are honoured to extend our partnership with Emirates, one of the world’s most respected airlines. This collaboration underscores GAMECO’s commitment to delivering world-class maintenance solutions and our shared emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. Together, we continue to set new standards in aircraft maintenance excellence.”
