This all-new course is designed with high-quality, realistic visuals powered by CPaT SmartGraphics, offering a visually dynamic experience that enhances student engagement. In addition, the course is built on CPaT’s next-generation framework, Microlessons. Microlessons offer many benefits to today’s pilots and training directors. From a student standpoint, the course will provide a seamless training experience through bite-sized, targeted modules that help pilots master complex material, and improve knowledge retention without cognitive overload. The modular structure will allow faster updates to ensure content remains aligned with current fleet configurations and SOPs and provide the ability to update a single Microlesson without reloading an entire course.

With this collaboration, All Nippon Airways becomes the first carrier in Japan to activate NDC content. Sabre-connected agencies in more than 40 countries around the world can now shop, book, and service the Skytrax 5-star airline’s NDC offers within a single cloud-native workflow that can scale with business needs. The launch further strengthens the two companies’ decades-long relationship, with All Nippon Airways already distributing its traditional content through Sabre, as well as using its Network Planning and Optimization technology.   “ANA is dedicated to enhancing the overall customer experience, including the purchasing journey,” said Keiji Omae, Executive Vice President of Customer Experience at All Nippon Airways. “Our partnership with Sabre enables ANA’s NDC initiative to deliver greater reach and more diverse distribution channels to meet customer needs. We are delighted to offer broader choices and more enriching experiences through SabreMosaic Travel Marketplace.”

News in brief on CPaT Global Sabre All Nippon Airways Malaysia Airlines Air Astana Ostend Air College ALSIM Changi Airport Hong Kong AirlinesMalaysia Airlines to revamp loyal programme: Enrich, the travel and lifestyle loyalty programme of Malaysia Airlines, will roll out a refreshed programme structure effective 1 January 2026. The update introduces changes to how members earn Enrich Points and Elite Points as well as revised requirements for Elite Status, providing more meaningful rewards, and recognition for members’ continued loyalty. This refresh reflects Enrich’s ongoing commitment to offering more value for members’ travel and lifestyle activities with Malaysia Airlines and its partners. Members will enjoy higher Enrich Points accrual across Elite tiers. Platinum members will earn 2.5 Enrich Points per RM1 spent on Malaysia Airlines and Firefly flights, while Gold and Silver members will earn 2.2 and 1.8 points respectively, ensuring greater rewards for our most valued travellers. Members can now earn significantly more Elite Points when flying with Malaysia Airlines, Firefly and oneworld member airlines, particularly in Business Suite and Business Class. This enables smoother progression to higher status, recognising members’ loyalty with greater value and benefits. The Elite Points required for each tier have been revised to align with evolving travel behaviours and expanded earning opportunities. Members will also continue earning Elite Points through Points + Cash redemptions, seat upgrades, and Enrich Hotels, while AmBank Enrich Visa Credit Cards provide a fast-track option to maintain or upgrade status. The Silver tier now includes 10kg extra baggage allowance and priority baggage handling, offering members greater convenience and recognition.

IEnvA is a globally recognized environmental management system developed specifically for the aviation sector. It enables airlines and aviation organisations to identify, monitor and continuously improve their environmental performance in line with international best practices and standards. By participating in IEnvA, Air Astana will implement a structured system that facilitates improvements in key operational and corporate processes. The programme provides for independent review and a step-by-step approach that helps airlines strengthen their management systems, reduce environmental risks, and integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of their operations. Air Astana’s participation in the IEnvA programme complements other initiatives already underway, including fleet upgrades with next-generation aircraft, measures to improve operational efficiency and reduce fuel consumption, and ongoing collaboration with partners to promote environmental responsibility throughout the aviation value chain.

News in brief on CPaT Global Sabre All Nippon Airways Malaysia Airlines Air Astana Ostend Air College ALSIM Changi Airport Hong Kong AirlinesOstend Air College invests in the ALSIM AL42 simulator: Ostend Air College, a Belgian flight school, has once again placed its trust in ALSIM by investing in a new AL42 simulator. The AL42 is an exact replica of the Diamond DA42, built using genuine aircraft parts and equipped with the authentic Garmin G1000 Nxi. It also comes with the latest generation image generator (VFR-VS), a GFC 700 autopilot, and a force feedback system that ensures enhanced realism. It can also be equipped with either analogue or glass (EFIS) backup instruments. The AL42 model is designed for CPL, IR/ME and PPL training in compliance with current regulatory standards of EASA FNPT II (level). Lieven Van Hoorick, FSTD Manager at Ostend Air College, says “We decided to invest in the ALSIM AL42 as part of our ongoing effort to future proof our training programs and maintain a high level of realism and quality in our pilot instruction. The AL42’s modern avionics, accurate flight dynamics and alignment with the DA42 cockpit make it a valuable tool for bridging the gap between simulation and real-world procedures.

News in brief on CPaT Global Sabre All Nippon Airways Malaysia Airlines Air Astana Ostend Air College ALSIM Changi Airport Hong Kong AirlinesChangi Airport app adds new features: Changi Airport Group (CAG) has unveiled FlightSaver Assurance, a new value-added feature on the Changi App that gives travellers instant benefits when their scheduled departure time from Singapore is delayed by three hours or more. Designed to give travellers tangible benefits for the inconvenience when their flights are delayed, this assurance is offered as part of Changi App’s upgraded ‘Save Flight’ suite. The improved app includes features such as live flight tracking, real-time updates and expanded destination airport information, providing smarter tools for passengers to plan, track, and manage their journeys with greater ease. Changi App is the first airport app globally to offer both real-time overseas airport information and an opt-in flight-delay assurance programme. It redefines how airports can enhance passenger journeys with support and care beyond the terminal experience. Travellers who opt-in for FlightSaver Assurance at least 12 hours before their scheduled departure will enjoy S$10 Changi e-vouchers if their scheduled time of departure from Singapore is extended by three hours or more[1]. This is credited instantly to their app account and stays valid for 30 days. E-vouchers can be used immediately at participating outlets in the transit areas of Changi Airport. This benefit, which can be enjoyed once per calendar month, is part of a trial programme running till 30 September 2026.  The programme will be progressively refined with the goal of becoming a long-term offering for travellers.

News in brief on CPaT Global Sabre All Nippon Airways Malaysia Airlines Air Astana Ostend Air College ALSIM Changi Airport Hong Kong AirlinesHong Kong Airlines to resume direct service to Hanoi: Hong Kong Airlines will resume its direct service between Hong Kong and Hanoi, Vietnam, from 19 December 2025. The daily flight will further strengthen the airline’s network across Asia. Li Dianchun, Executive Vice President of Hong Kong Airlines, stated: “Vietnam’s tourism market has seen rapid growth in recent years, leading to a significant increase in demand for air travel.  With the construction of Hanoi Airport’s new terminal and the implementation of several airport infrastructure projects, conditions for air transport have become increasingly favourable. Building on our successful experience operating the Da Nang route, we are even more confident in the potential of the Vietnamese market. We look forward to deepening our presence in Vietnam and offering passengers more convenient and efficient travel options.” The resumption of the Hanoi service not only enhances Hong Kong Airlines’ network coverage across Southeast Asia but also reinforces the company’s commitment to strengthening connectivity along the “Belt and Road” region, facilitating trade, and promoting cultural and economic exchange.
