Acron Aviation announced an agreement with Indian flight training provider Flightrule Aviation Services to train New Zealand-based cadets at its state-of-the-art London Training Center near Gatwick Airport. Under this three-year training agreement, Acron Aviation will provide Type Ratings to graduates of the Flightrule – IndiGo Pilot Cadet Program. Type Ratings are tailored to IndiGo training requirements to ensure all new pilots meet the standards of India’s largest airline by fleet size.

Headquartered in New Delhi, and with offices in Singapore, Flightrule Aviation Services provides technology-led pilot training solutions. In 2019, the company began its collaboration with India’s largest airline, IndiGo, and New Zealand based, International Commercial Pilot Academy (NZICPA) to launch an IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program.
Acron Aviation provides a full range of pilot training services from its London and Bangkok training centers including: Type Rating for Boeing 737NG, Airbus A320, Airbus A330, and ATR 72-500/600, Cross Crew Qualification (CCQ), and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT).
BAA Training and Qatar Airways launch MPL training partnership
BAA Training has signed a five-year agreement with Qatar Airways Group. Through this strategic partnership, BAA Training will deliver Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL) training for up to 150 cadets annually, with the first group beginning in April 2025.

The program is designed to deliver airline-tailored, competency-based MPL training, ensuring cadets master both technical skills and the core competencies required for safe and proficient operations. The training pathway includes theoretical instruction, single-engine flight training, multi-engine practice on FNPT II devices, and Type Rating on A320 full flight simulators and FTD Level 2 devices. Upon graduation, cadets will be fully qualified to step directly into First Officer roles with Qatar Airways, entering the flight deck equipped with industry-leading preparation and career security.
Training will be delivered at BAA Training’s state-of-the-art facilities in Lithuania and Spain. An all-inclusive service package, covering accommodation and catering, guarantees a seamless, high-quality experience from start to finish.
CPaT announces new contract with LIAT
CPaT Global announced they have been awarded a new contract with LIAT (2020) LTD. CPaT will be providing LIAT (2020) LTD with their Aircraft System courses and General Subject library for both the ATR42-600 and ERJ 145. In addition, LIAT20 will be equipped with CPaT Invent which will allow them to modify courseware to fit their specific requirements.
