ST Engineering opens Singapore airframe, nacelle MRO centre

ST Engineering’s Commercial Aerospace business has enhanced its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities with the launch of an integrated airframe and nacelle service centre in Singapore, offering aircraft operators improved operational efficiency and streamlined maintenance solutions. The facility marks the first time ST Engineering’s global MRO network has combined both airframe and nacelle maintenance capabilities within a single airframe MRO facility. The integrated service offering is designed to reduce operational complexity, shorten turnaround times and maintain consistent technical standards. Streamlined Maintenance and Improved Operational Efficiency The dual-service centre enables operators of supported aircraft platforms to consolidate airframe and nacelle maintenance work at one location. The facility is equipped with advanced tooling and OEM-approved processes capable of supporting both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements. By integrating these services, operators benefit from simplified communication channels, improved maintenance scheduling and more efficient work scope management. The company’s nacelle MRO network includes major facilities in: Stockholm Baltimore Melbourne Xiamen These are supported by more than ten additional service centres worldwide, providing 24/7 technical support and access to nacelle exchange asset pools. ST Engineering’s nacelle MRO programmes are certified by multiple aviation authorities and approved by leading OEMs including Boeing, Airbus, Safran and Collins Aerospace. These approvals enable ST Engineering to deliver OEM-aligned repairs and services to global operators.
