ExecuJet Haite Tianjin Facility secures bonded maintenance approval

ExecuJet Haite, a leading provider of business aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, has officially obtained bonded maintenance approval for its state-of-the-art facility at Tianjin Binhai International Airport. This milestone enhances the company’s global competitiveness and strengthens its position as a premier MRO provider in China and the wider Asia-Pacific region. The bonded classification allows ExecuJet Haite to continue delivering streamlined, cost-efficient maintenance services for foreign-registered business aircraft. The facility’s bonded area boosts export competitiveness, supports complex supply chains, and provides tangible benefits for international clients, including reduced costs and faster turnaround times. “This new status satisfies the demand of our international clients,” said Paul Desgrosseilliers, General Manager of ExecuJet Haite. “While 60% of our work is for China-registered aircraft, 40% comes from a diverse global clientele. The bonded zone directly addresses their needs by significantly reducing costs and accelerating turnaround times. It solidifies our position as a globally competitive MRO provider, committed to serving both the domestic and international markets.” Under the bonded maintenance framework, aircraft spare parts, materials, and equipment imported from overseas remain duty-free when stored and used within the facility. This arrangement reduces tax exposure, simplifies customs procedures, and shortens lead times for critical components—minimising aircraft downtime and improving fleet operational efficiency. ExecuJet Haite is a wholly owned subsidiary of China’s Haite Group and is an authorised service centre for Gulfstream (AWF), Embraer, and Dassault Falcon Jet. The facility is also certified to maintain Bombardier aircraft, providing a comprehensive suite of MRO services for business aviation in the region.
