AAR celebrates ribbon cutting for airframe MRO facility expansion: AAR hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony today to celebrate the expansion of its Airframe MRO footprint in Miami. Constructed to meet maintenance capacity requirements for a long-term commercial airline, the new facility will support three lines of heavy maintenance and is expected to induct its first aircraft this autumn. The expansion adds 100,000+ square feet to AAR’s Airframe MRO facility at Miami International Airport. The project was made possible through AAR’s collaboration with the airport, Ryan Companies, HPM, and federal, state, and local partners. The additional work supported in the new facility creates 200 new full-time jobs with AAR and brings economic benefits to Miami-Dade County. AAR is actively staffing the new roles through its established workforce development pipeline and collaborative initiatives with local educational institutions, reinforcing the Company’s long-term commitment to talent development and community investment. “The expansion of our Airframe MRO facility in Miami reflects both the strength of our operations and the confidence customers place in AAR to deliver quality and reliability. We are excited to continue growing alongside our airline customers while enhancing our ability to meet their evolving maintenance needs,” said John M. Holmes, AAR’s Chairman, President and CEO. “We appreciate the collaboration of Miami International Airport, our project partners, and government stakeholders whose support made this expansion possible.” Jetcraft Commercial strengthens leadership team: Jetcraft Commercial, the commercial division of the global aircraft trading firm Jetcraft, has appointed Marc Meloche as Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Rory McQueen as Vice President, Aircraft Finance, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth. Previously Managing Director of Aviation Finance at Jetcraft Commercial, Meloche has more than 30 years’ experience in the aviation industry. Since joining the company in 2018, he has played a key role in the growth of Jetcraft Commercial, through his extensive commercial, financial and market expertise. Joining Jetcraft Commercial as Vice President, Aircraft Finance, is Rory McQueen, who brings a strong background in aviation finance and a robust network of industry relationships from his previous senior leadership roles at Chorus Aviation, VistaJet and Bombardier. BeOnd signs MOU Aeroprime Group: BeOnd announced the signing of an MOU with Aeroprime Group to explore the appointment of beOnd’s Cargo General Sales and Service Agent (Cargo GSSA) in India. The MOU marks a milestone in beOnd’s ecosystem development strategy as the airline expands its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets. Aeroprime brings extensive experience in cargo management for international airlines, together with deep expertise in the Indian air cargo market and well-established industry relationships. A dedicated cargo strategy complements beOnd Group’s expanding passenger operations and supports its long-term objective of building a diversified platform across key international markets. “India is one of our highest-priority markets, and cargo is central to building a sustainable ecosystem within our AOCs,” said Tero Taskila, Chief Executive Officer of beOnd. “In India, we’ve appointed Aeroprime as our partner who already knows this market inside out, so we start from a position of strength rather than learning as we go.” FACC continues growth course: FACC AG is consistently continuing its successful growth course in the 1st half of 2026 and is increasing revenue by 8.6% year-on-year to EUR 526.3 million (H1 2025: EUR 484.7 million). At the same time, the operating result (EBIT) improved by 38% to EUR 25.3 million (H1 2025: EUR 18.4 million). The EBIT margin increased from 3.8% to 4.8%. As a result, FACC is not only growing faster than some competitors, but is also improving its profitability in the long term. The CORE efficiency program, which was launched in 2024 and sustainably improves both the cost structure in general and the company’s productivity, plays a major role in this. “We are not only growing in terms of revenue, but at the same time are increasing our profitability in a challenging environment. This shows that our strategy is working. With every improvement in our processes, we are creating the basis for long-term profitable growth and consistently getting closer to our goal of an EBIT margin of over 8%,” confirm CEO Robert Machtlinger and CFO Florian Heindl.
