Vietjet inaugurates the first direct route between Da Lat and Busan

Vietjet today commences the first and only direct service linking Da Lat, a tourism hub in Vietnam’s central highlands and Busan, Korea’s second largest city. The new route will make it easier and more affordable for travelers to enjoy the natural landscape, beautiful flowers, and nice weather in Da Lat while boosting the international connectivity in Vietnam’s central highlands region. All passengers on the first flights between Da Lat and Busan received warm welcome from local people together with souvenirs from Vietjet’s flight crew. The Da Lat – Busan route operates daily return flight from July 13, making a total seven return flights on a weekly basic. With 4 hours 45 minutes for each flight, the flights from Dalat’s Lien Khuong Airport depart at 1:55 (local time) and arrive at Gimhae Airport in Busan at 8:30 (local time). The return flights from Gimhae Airport to Lien Khuong Airport take off at 9:30 (local time) and land at 12:15 (local time). Flyers can grab ultra-low-cost tickets from just USD0 (exclusive of tax and surcharges) to fly between Da Lat and Busan and all other routes between Korea and Vietnam. The promotion’s booking time is on every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday until December 31, 2023, at www.vietjetair.com and Vietjet Air mobile app, for travel time from August 10 to March 31, 2024 (exclusive of public holidays and peak travel time). In addition, passengers on all Vietjet’s flights can enjoy free Sky Care travel insurance with coverage benefits including reimbursement of medical expenses incurred due to accidents or illnesses (including Covid-19), flight-related problems (including flight delay, baggage delay, baggage loss or damage, lost travel documents), and Global Travel and Medical Support Services 24/7. With the addition of Da Lat – Busan service, Vietjet now operates a total of 13 services between Vietnam and Korea, the largest flight network between the two countries. The airline has five routes to Busan from Da Lat, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Nha Trang; and eight services to Seoul from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hai Phong, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Dalat, and Can Tho.
