Thai Airways extends TrueChoice deal for GE90s

GE Aerospace announced that Thai Airways signed a six-year agreement to extend its  TrueChoice service with GE Aerospace that covers the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the airline’s GE90 engine powered Boeing 777 commercial fleet. “GE Aerospace is honoured that THAI Airways continues to select us to keep its GE90 fleet operating safely and reliably,” said Russell Stokes, President and CEO, Commercial Engines and Services for GE Aerospace. “We greatly appreciate their partnership, and it is a privilege to continue delivering exceptional services and customer support.” The array of TrueChoice engine maintenance offerings incorporates GE Aerospace capabilities and customisations across an engine’s lifecycle. All TrueChoice offerings are supported by GE Aerospace data analytics capabilities and experience to help reduce maintenance burden and service disruptions. “GE Aerospace continues to prove itself as the right maintenance provider for our GE90 engines. THAI and GE Aerospace recently announced a GEnx order for THAI’s 787 Dreamliner fleet expansion. The airline also plans to operate the Airbus 321neo with CFM LEAP engines.
