Rotortrade has entered into an agreement with Toll Group’s aviation business for the supply of two Leonardo AW139 helicopters, to be used for current contracted operations in Australia. As part of the transaction, both aircraft will undergo their four-year inspection at Rotortrade’s MRO facility in Tallard, France, ensuring they are delivered in full compliance with the highest operational and safety standards required for contracted operations. Toll Aviation, part of Toll Group and a key player in Australia’s aviation landscape, provides specialised aviation operational and training services across emergency response, government, and Defence. With a focus on safety, operational excellence, and innovation, Toll Group continues to invest in fleet modernisation. Aurélien Blanc, Rotortrade Executive Vice President Head of Region APAC/MEA commented: “We are very proud to further strengthen our relationship with Toll Group through this agreement. Through this project, we are combining our technical capabilities with Toll’s operational expertise to support their clients’ objectives.” Marcello Corrado Salati, Rotortrade Deputy Head of Region and Regional Sales Director APAC, added: “Working with the Toll team has been very straightforward. They bring a high level of experience and a clear, pragmatic approach, which makes discussions efficient and constructive. We are proud to support such a capable partner and to contribute to the essential work they carry out every day.” Scott Watkins, Senior Vice President, Toll Aviation, “This agreement forms part of our continued investment in strengthening our AW139 capabilities across Australia. Securing these aircraft is an important step in ensuring we can meet both the operational requirements of our contracts, and a growing demand. Rotortrade has been proactive and solutions-oriented, and we appreciate the collaborative approach taken by their team.” Rotortrade reports strong growth in APAC and MEA in 2025 In 2025, Rotortrade completed transactions across more than 30 countries in APAC and MEA, including Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, India, Japan, UAE, South Africa, Nigeria, Zambia and Tajikistan. The company delivered a wide range of helicopter types, including H225, AW139, AW169, 412EP, H145, AW109SP/T, 135T3, 119Kx and AS350/H125, supporting diverse mission profiles such as offshore (OGP), EMS, firefighting, utility, passenger transport and VIP operations. Together, APAC and MEA accounted for more than 40% of Rotortrade’s total revenue and profit contribution in 2025, continuing to reflect their leading role within the company’s global footprint. APAC continues to show strong momentum. In 2025, the region recorded bottom-line contribution growth of up to 50% year-on-year, aligned with Rotortrade’s overall global performance, representing 25% of total company sales and margin and 35% of total transactions. Rotortrade’s activity spanned 12 countries across ANZ, Southeast Asia, China, India, Japan and Central Asia, with demand primarily driven by utility and EMS missions, alongside OGP, Corporate/VIP and SAR operations. In Australia and New Zealand alone, Rotortrade secured 7 helicopter bookings in 2025, including 6 twin-engine and 1 single-engine aircraft, reflecting sustained demand for both light twin and mission-capable platforms in the region. Across APAC and MEA, market activity continues to be supported by demand for versatile and cost-efficient helicopters, ranging from light single- and twin-engine platforms to medium twins supporting offshore and mission-critical operations. These dynamics remain broadly consistent with global trends, where EMS, utility and VIP configurations continue to represent a significant share of transaction volumes. Commenting on the regional performance, Philippe Lubrano, Founder & CEO of Rotortrade, stated: “We continue to see Asia-Pacific and the Middle East & Africa as leading regions within our global business. The diversity of missions and the increasing operational requirements across these markets support steady demand for reliable, well-configured aircraft. Our focus remains on delivering solutions that go beyond the transaction, supporting our customers with the right aircraft, financing structures, and technical capabilities over the long term.” For Editorial Inquiries Contact: Editor Matt Driskill at [email protected] For Advertising Inquiries Contact: Head of Sales Sally Passey at [email protected]
