Honda Aircraft Company announced the first delivery of the HondaJet Elite II in Brazil. The delivery follows type validation of the latest HondaJet variant by the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), confirming that the Elite II meets the authority’s safety and performance standards and is approved for registration in Brazil. The HondaJet will continue to be sold through Lider Aviação, the exclusive authorised sales representative of Brazil. The Elite II builds on the success of HondaJet platform with enhanced performance and advanced technologies. With a maximum NBAA IFR range of 1,547 nautical miles, increased fuel capacity and other performance improvements, the aircraft expands mission capability and enables more direct city-pair connections across South America. The Elite II also introduces advanced automation features designed to reduce pilot workload, including autothrottle, which, when activated, can automatically manage engine power, keeping the aircraft moving at the desired speed and increasing passenger comfort. “This delivery underscores Honda Aircraft Company’s commitment to building a global fleet presence while delivering meaningful value to customers worldwide,” said Amod Kelkar, Senior Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer. “The enhanced features of the Elite II will enable customers in Brazil and across South America to travel farther, more efficiently, and with an elevated level of comfort.” Lider Aviação is the exclusive HondaJet authorised sales representative for Brazil, providing sales, service and support for HondaJet aircraft. The company, headquartered in Belo Horizonte, is Latin America’s largest private aviation business and operates 22 fixed base operations (FBO) throughout Brazil.
