Sarla Aviation scales urban air mobility with Siemens Xcelerator: Siemens announced that Sarla Aviation is using the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio of industry software to accelerate the development of its next-generation electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for urban air mobility. Based in Bengaluru, India, Sarla Aviation aims to transform urban transportation by making electric air taxis safe, sustainable and accessible. With plans to launch operations in Bengaluru by 2028, the company is building an advanced air mobility platform designed to make aerial commuting as convenient as premium ride-hailing services. To support its ambitious product roadmap, Sarla Aviation has adopted Siemens’ integrated digital thread, connecting product design, simulation and lifecycle management operations in a unified environment. By establishing a seamless flow of data across development disciplines, the company can reduce design iterations through early-stage simulation, improve collaboration across engineering teams and strengthen the traceability, verification and validation processes required for certification. LOT Polish Airlines is launching flights to Hanoi: Star Alliance member LOT Polish Airlines is further expanding its route network from Warsaw to Asia and will launch a new Boeing 787 Dreamliner thrice weekly nonstop service to Hanoi from 31 March 2027. Following Bangkok, Delhi, Seoul and Tokyo, the Vietnamese capital will be LOT’s fifth destination in the Far East. Warsaw-Hanoi: Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday: Departure from Warsaw on LO 61 at 15:05h, arrival in Hanoi the following day at 06:35h local time. When the region’s unique fare offerings proved challenging for conventional RM approaches, Maxamation and the airline worked together to develop customer-centric adjustments Çelebi Aviation wins Turkish Airlines deal:  Çelebi Aviation strengthening its operations in Kenya under a new agreement with Turkish Airlines. As of 1 August 2026, the company will begin providing ground handling services to Turkish Airlines at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. This new collaboration marks an important step in Çelebi Aviation’s growth strategy across Africa, while further enhancing the company’s presence in Nairobi, one of East Africa’s most strategic aviation hubs. Çelebi Aviation will support Turkish Airlines’ Istanbul-Nairobi-Istanbul flights with passenger services, ramp operations, aircraft turnaround coordination, baggage services and other ground handling processes. Within the scope of the operation, which will include seven weekly flights and approximately 365 flights annually, Çelebi Aviation aims to serve around 75,000 to 80,000 passengers per year with safe, timely and high-quality service standards.
