Gulf Wings takes delivery of new Bombardier Global 8000 for BUA Group

Bombardier announced the delivery of the first Global 8000 aircraft in Africa to BUA Group, a Nigerian-based multinational company with interests across cement, food, oil and gas, energy, infrastructure, ports and terminals, and real estate. The aircraft will support BUA Group’s long-range travel requirements, enabling non-stop connections from Lagos to key business destinations around the world, including Los Angeles, Perth, and Tokyo. Dubai-based Gulf Wings will manage the fleet and the new aircraft, it said in a statement. This adds to a growing fleet Gulf Wings operates on behalf of BUA. It is the fastest civilian aircraft in operation since the supersonic Concorde. Its signature four-zone cabin offers a private suite, living area, dining space, and dedicated office, setting a new standard for ultra-long-range travel and combining the operational reach of a commercial aircraft with the privacy and refinement demanded by global principals. The Global 8000 becomes the crown jewel of the aircraft portfolio that Gulf Wings manages for BUA Group.
