CPaT announces new training agreement with Nouvelair

Training company CPaT Global announced it has been awarded a new contract with Nouvelair. As part of the agreement, CPaT will provide Nouvelair with its NextGen A320 CEO Aircraft Systems course and General Subjects. In addition, the tailored A320 CEO course will be customized to support Nouvelair’s operational requirements, delivering a modern training experience aligned with the airline’s fleet and procedures. “Nouvelair’s investment in customised training reflects their commitment to providing pilots with the highest-quality learning experience,” said Capt. Greg Darrow, Vice President of Sales. “By combining our NextGen Aircraft Systems course with enhanced tailoring, we’re able to deliver training that is engaging, relevant, and aligned with the airline’s day-to-day operation.” “This project is part of Nouvelair’s overall digital transformation strategy, alongside strategic digital initiatives such as e-training and the digital cockpit. It is being implemented in parallel with the company’s fleet renewal and expansion program, including the progressive introduction of the Airbus A320neo fleet, as well as the expansion of its network through the launch of new destinations.” Nouvelair is based out of Tunisia. BAA Training France certifies A320 FFS Airbus Standard 2.2.1 BAA Training France has become the first aviation training center worldwide to operate an Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulator (FFS), certified to the new Airbus Standard 2.2.1 and declared ready for training (RFT). The simulator is owned by Transavia France, the Air France-KLM Group low-cost carrier, and is operated and maintained by BAA Training. It is now available for training to airlines and operators globally. As airlines continue introducing newer A320neo aircraft into their fleets, access to training devices aligned with the latest aircraft standards is becoming increasingly important for maintaining pilot readiness, operational consistency and safety. The latest Airbus standard ensures continued alignment with the most recent A320neo aircraft developments, enabling pilots to train in an environment that accurately reflects current airline operations. Advanced capabilities include Air Traffic Services Unit with Future Air Navigation System C standard (ATSU FANS-C), updated digital Radio Management Panel (RMP), improved Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) functionality, as well as enhancements contributing to increased safety and improved pilot workload management. This certification marks another significant milestone for BAA Training, bringing the total number of certified FFSs across its global training network to 17.
