Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) has named Peter van Helden as Senior Vice President, Component Product, a strategic leadership role that will be instrumental in shaping the next phase of the company’s component services portfolio. Peter van Helden Van Helden joins AFI KLM E&M with a distinguished career spanning several decades in the aviation industry. He brings a deep well of knowledge in OEM relations and strategic partnerships, coupled with a unique blend of technical and commercial expertise. Known for his strategic vision, van Helden has held senior leadership roles in engineering, sales, and program management across globally respected organisations. He has built a strong reputation for driving operational excellence and creating long-term value throughout the aviation sector. Van Helden’s deep expertise in working with OEMs, coupled with his ability to cultivate high-impact industry partnerships, positions him as a key asset to AFI KLM E&M’s global ambitions. He is known for his ability to lead cross-functional teams, navigate complex regulatory environments, and deliver customer-focused solutions in an evolving market landscape. Peter is the successor to Bruno Tricoire, who recently transitioned to his new position as Senior Vice President of Engines at Air France Industries.
