AAR starts exclusive commercial distribution agreement with TRIUMPH: AAR has begun executing on its exclusive commercial distribution agreement with TRIUMPH. Originally announced in April of 2024, AAR is now the exclusive distributor of TRIUMPH’s commercial actuation product line, which includes more than 100 top-level assemblies and their subcomponents used on various Boeing and Airbus commercial platforms. This OEM distribution relationship complements AAR’s existing product offerings and customer base, while TRIUMPH benefits from AAR’s services and robust global sales force’s efficient delivery of inventory to customers. “We are pleased to kick off this eagerly anticipated expansion of AAR’s offerings to the commercial aftermarket on key Boeing and Airbus platforms,” said Frank Landrio, AAR’s Senior Vice President of Distribution. “AAR’s proven support of commercial airlines and MRO customers through our global distribution network make this a valuable offering for the market, especially given TRIUMPH’s reputation for quality.” Embraer reports 91 aircraft delivered in the fourth quarter: Embraer said it delivered 91 aircraft in 4Q25. This result represents an improvement compared to 3Q25 and 4Q24, when 62 and 75 jets were delivered, respectively. During 4Q25, 32 new commercial jets were delivered — 15 of which were E195-E2 models, Embraer’s largest aircraft currently in production in the segment. During the period, the Commercial Aviation business unit outperformed both 3Q25 and 4Q24, which recorded 20 and 31 deliveries, respectively. In 2025, Commercial Aviation delivered 78 jets, in-line with its 77-85 aircraft guidance for the year. Embraer Executive Jets registered 53 deliveries, compared with 41 jets delivered in 3Q25 and 44 in 4Q24. The highlight of the quarter was the Phenom 300, the fastest light jet in production and market leader for 13 consecutive years, with 23 units delivered. In 2025, Executive Aviation delivered 155 jets, at the high end of its 145-155 guidance for the year. In Defense & Security, the company delivered two units of its multi-mission military transport aircraft, the KC-390 Millennium, and four A-29 Super Tucano during the quarter. In 2025, the company delivered a total of 244 aircraft across Commercial Aviation, Executive Aviation and Defense & Security, surpassing the 206 units delivered in the previous year. APOC Aviation acquires CF34-10E engine for teardown: APOC Aviation, a trading and leasing specialist for narrowbody aircraft parts, engines and landing gear, has acquired a CF34-10E engine for teardown with all USM available for sale or exchange opportunities.  Most recently operated by Kenya Airways the engine asset will be dismantled in Europe with parts located at APOC’s warehouse close to Schiphol. According to Bruce Ansell, Technical Manager – Engines Division at APOC, this engine expands APOC’s engine material base.  “We currently have two V2500-A5 recently torn down, the CF34 will extend our market into this popular engine variant.  We are actively looking for further opportunities for CFM teardown engines to meet customer demand from airlines and traders.” The GE CF34-10E engine powers the Embraer E190/E195 regional jets and the larger Embraer Lineage 1000 business jet, offering around 20,000 pounds of thrust for these popular aircraft. It’s known for reliability and fuel efficiency, making it a mainstay in regional aviation for dependable performance on shorter routes. Mid-East Academy for Aviation Sciences takes new ALSIM AL250 simulator: ALSIM announced Mid-East Academy for Aviation Sciences has added an AL250 simulator to its training fleet. This addition reinforces the academy’s reputation as a leader in aviation training in the Middle East, offering students access to advanced flight simulation technology. The AL250 simulator addresses the initial phase of training needs (PPL, CPL, IR/ME) and is a SEP/MEP reconfigurable simulator certified as an EASA FNPT II. In addition, it offers both classic and glass cockpits for each flight model at the simple flick of a switch. This device has been extremely well received since its creation, and more than 100 units have been installed and are operating successfully worldwide. “As we have been offering our pilot students very high-quality training, and to benefit from the most advanced training technology as they prepare for their future careers, we have selected the AL250 simulator from ALSIM Flight Training Solutions because of its high quality and stable functionality, the fact that it matches any other product on the market and being a fully capable training simulator for PPL, CPL & IR/ME, will eliminate the need for multiple devices at our Academy. Flyadeal adds new routes: Flyadeal has launched five routes from Madinah, its newest operational base in Saudi Arabia. The introduction of scheduled flights to Sabiha Gökçen in Istanbul and four domestic cities of Abha, Al Hofuf, Jazan and Tabuk, takes the number of flyadeal destinations from Madinah’s Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport up from three to eight. Until now, flyadeal had served Dammam, Riyadh and the Egyptian capital Cairo from the Holy city. The capacity hike represents a 40 percent increase in the number of flyadeal operated flights out of Madinah to 88 a week, giving customers greater travel options. Two aircraft are now permanently positioned at the airport, which joins flyadeal’s three other operational bases of Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. The expanded schedule supplements flyadeal’s dedicated year-round Umrah flights from several countries direct to Madinah, north of the Saudi port city of Jeddah. Flyadeal’s additional routes support an already high demand operation from Madinah. Daily Cairo flights are now being served 11 times a week; frequency on the Dammam route is up from 19 to 26 flights each week; and Riyadh maintains a five-times daily schedule. The new domestic routes serve different parts of the Kingdom – southwest coastal city of Jazan; Tabuk in the northwest; Al Hofuf in the country’s Eastern Province; and Abha in the southwestern mountainous region of Aseer province.
