CPaT expands custom courseware development services: CPaT Global, the world’s leading provider of distance learning for the airline and aviation industry announced the expansion of its custom courseware development services with new Ground Operations Training and Maintenance Reliability Training solutions. The new services enable airlines, airports, ground handling companies, MROs, cargo operators, and business aviation organisations to outsource the development of customized, safety-focused training tailored to their specific procedures, operational requirements, equipment, and regulatory standards. CPaT can now develop customized training for ramp operations, fuelling, baggage handling, ground support equipment (GSE), marshalling, pushback, de-icing, and other airport functions. Courses can be built using each client’s procedures and safety standards to promote consistency, reduce risk, and improve operational performance. CPaT’s Maintenance Reliability Training helps organizations improve dispatch reliability, troubleshooting effectiveness, MEL decision-making, and maintenance consistency. Air Charter Service opens 43rd office, in Monaco: Air Charter Service, has opened an office in Monaco the company’s 43rd office globally. Alexandre Busila, ACS’s Regional Director of the Francophone market, commented: “Monaco is a natural choice for our new office, with an abundance of private jet users living in the principality, and the riviera region, many as clients of ours already. This is an exciting new office for the company, right in the heart of our busiest region for our private jet customers and ready to form even closer connections to them and to new clientele.” ALSIM signs deal with European Flyers: ALSIM announced that European Flyers has selected both the Airliner and the ALX for its bases in Madrid and Alicante, making it the first Airliner simulator installed in Spain. This dual acquisition highlights European Flyers’ strong commitment to innovation and excellence in airline pilot training. The Airliner is an FNPT II MCC–certified hybrid simulator that combines fly-by-wire and conventional flight controls, offering the ideal platform for APS MCC and MPL Phase II advanced training. Purpose-built around APS MCC learning objectives, it develops key airline competencies such as automation management, crew coordination, leadership, and threat and error management. Its generic airliner design provides greater flexibility and broader skill transfer, ensuring trainees are confidently prepared for airline pilot operations and able to transition smoothly into any type rating, regardless of aircraft type. HK Express commences ops at T2 in Hong Kong: HK Express Airways (HK Express) has commenced operations at Terminal 2 (T2) of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), marking a new chapter in the airline’s continuous expansion as the airline operating at T2 with the largest capacity. The relocation to T2 will enhance HK Express’s customer handling capabilities, elevate the customer travel experience and provide better facilities that support future capacity and route network growth. On its first day of operations at T2, HK Express’s early morning peak period ran smoothly, with customers experiencing efficient and well-organised check-in and bag drop processes. A total of 47 flights are scheduled to depart from around 7:00am local time, marking the start of the airline’s full-scale operations at the new terminal. “As the largest airline operating at Terminal 2, HK Express’s move to T2 represents not only a significant operational upgrade, but also a more solid platform for our future growth. With T2’s enhanced customer handling capacity and advanced facilities with new technology, we are confident in further improving customer experience through optimising service processes, and accelerating the expansion of our route network to seize the opportunities stemming from the continuous growth in travel demand for Hong Kong and the region. Emirates SkyCargo adds service to Almaty: Emirates SkyCargo, the freight division of Emirates, has announced that it will be launching dedicated weekly freighter flights on its Boeing 777F aircraft to Almaty International Airport, Kazakhstan, commencing 16 June 2026. Almaty is Emirates SkyCargo’s first destination in Central Asia and the new weekly cargo flights from Dubai will help open a new trade corridor integrating the region into the carrier’s global network. Almaty is Kazakhstan’s largest city and a growing commercial and logistics hub serving as an important economic and trade gateway Central Asia. Emirates SkyCargo’s weekly freighter service on Tuesdays will provide over 100 tonnes of cargo capacity every week for the seamless movement of key commodities including electronics, perishables, machinery and other consumer goods between Almaty and the rest of the world through Dubai. In line with growing global demand, Emirates SkyCargo is strategically expanding its freighter fleet and global network. The airline has taken delivery of four new Boeing 777 freighters since March 2026, with delivery of six more freighters lined up for the rest of the year taking Emirates freighter fleet to 21 aircraft by December 2026. Emirates SkyCargo offers scalable and flexible cargo capacity solutions for its global customers. In addition to dedicated freighter flights, the carrier also offers high frequency bellyhold cargo capacity on Emirates’ fleet of passenger aircraft operating to destinations across six continents. ExecuJet MRO Services Belgium wraps Falcon 7X project: ExecuJet MRO Services Europe has completed a major project on a Dassault Falcon 7X that included: installing a Starlink system and antennae, performing an avionics upgrade, an engine change, exterior repainting and a cabin refurbishment. The customer chose ExecuJet’s Kortrijk facility in Belgium, because it was the first company in the world to install the Starlink satcom system on a Falcon 8X, says ExecuJet MRO Services’ regional VP for Europe, Matthijs Hutsebaut. ExecuJet upgraded the 7X’s avionics system from EASy II to EASy IV. “This is arguably the most challenging upgrade because of the amount of new wiring needed to be installed due to the complexity of EASy IV over the EASy II,” says ExecuJet Europe’s lead engineer, Bram Depuydt. EASy IV is a far more advanced avionics system that includes a new Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), which makes more extensive use of satellite navigation for better situational awareness. ExecuJet also carried out a borescope inspection and engine change on the aircraft, cleaned the fuel tanks and completed component work on the landing gear. In addition, exterior painting was carried out followed by the application of Permagard, a polymer-based treatment, to protect the airframe’s exterior. The cabin refurbishment included installing new carpets, reupholstering the seats, side ledges, and the ceiling panel in the passenger cabin, as well as some areas in the cockpit.
