“Bringing AirExplore and KlasJet closer together allows us to deploy aircraft faster and scale more efficiently. By leveraging the unique strengths of each brand while unifying our back-end operations, we are positioning ourselves to be the most agile partner in the European aviation sector,” said Bulka.

Unifying the operational structures of AirExplore and KlasJet will bring efficiencies given the operational similarities they share, the airlines said. Both airlines operate European AOCs under EASA regulations and maintain a fleet of Boeing aircraft, making it logical to merge technical and maintenance standards.

AirExplore and KlasJet will remain distinct brands operating under their respective AOCs. KlasJet will continue to lead the VIP and private charter sector, while AirExplore will focus on its core ACMI operations. This dual-brand approach, backed by a single leadership team, will expand both operators’ reach, particularly in markets like the UK, US, and Canada, through the Lithuanian AOC. It will also allow for faster aircraft deployment.

By combining internal resources while preserving their unique market identities, the airlines are better positioned to serve as a flexible and reliable partner in the European aviation sector. AirExplore’s fleet comprises Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, including both passenger and freighter configurations (737-800 BCF).
