Vietjet has inducted a new A321neo ACF (Airbus Cabin Flex) that arrived recently at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City after a journey from the Airbus factory in Hamburg, Germany. It is the 111th aircraft to join the airline’s modern fleet.
With its advanced cabin design that meets the latest standards for seat dimensions and spacing, Vietjet’s new aircraft will provide passengers with the best flying experience, the airline said. The A321neo ACF aircraft also help reduce fuel consumption and emissions by up to 20%, while reducing noise by up to 50% compared to previous single-aisle aircraft.
As part of its expansion plan, Vietjet is set to welcome three more new aircraft this December. In addition to the newly received aircraft, Vietjet also plans to wet-lease between six and 10 aircraft on a short-term basis during the Lunar New Year holiday to accommodate the peak travel demand from both locals and tourists.
Vietjet has been experiencing robust growth in 2024 with new aircraft deliveries, further enhancing its vibrant and modern fleet, which remains the most dynamic in the region. The new fleet members will support Vietjet in serving passengers during the upcoming peak travel seasons, across its expansive global flight network that connects Vietnam to more destinations around the world.
