Vietjet has recently commenced its inaugural flight between Ho Chi Minh City and Haneda Airport in central Tokyo, offering passengers more choices for affordable air travel between two of the most vibrant cities in Vietnam and Japan. In addition, the airline will increase flight capacity from Vietnam to Indonesia, from 70 flights per week to 84 flights per week starting August 12.
From July 15, with seven return flights every week, flyers can easily travel between Tokyo viaHaneda Airport and Ho Chi Minh City. Flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Tokyo (Haneda) depart at 17:00 and arrive at 1:00 the next day (local time). The return flights from Tokyo (Haneda) to Ho Chi Minh City depart at 02:00 and arrive at 06:10 (local time).
The Tokyo (Haneda) – Ho Chi Minh City is the Vietjet’s second route between the two cities, totaling the Japan – Vietnam’s network to seven routes. Vietjet is operating direct flights from Tokyo (Narita and Haneda), Osaka to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Fukuoka, Nagoya to Hanoi. The airline also operates charter flights from Vietnam to Japanese destinations such as Niigata, Shizuoka, Fukushima, Ehime, Wakayama, etc.
Additionally, the airline has announced a significant increase in its flight capacity between Vietnam and Indonesia to 84 weekly flights from August 12, catering to the rising demand for travel to the enchanting paradise islands of Bali. With the flight enhancement, Vietjet will introduce five daily return flights connecting Vietnam’s vibrant cities of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Bali. Travelers will also benefit from the convenience of one daily return flight connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Jakarta, facilitating seamless travel experiences between the two dynamic cities from August 5.
