Vietjet expands footprint to Australia with new Perth service

Aviation FestivalVietjet announced it will operate direct flights from Vietnam’s economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City to Perth, the first ever direct air service connecting Vietnam with a Western Australia city. This new route and the frequency addition of current routes to other Australian cities from December will significantly increase the total number of flights between Vietnam and Australia operated by Vietjet, offering 38 flights per week.

The Ho Chi Minh City – Perth inaugural flight is scheduled for November 21, 2023, with an initial frequency of two return flights per week. The flights from Ho Chi Minh City will take off at 13:35 (local time) on Tuesdays and Saturdays, land in Perth at 21:20 (local time). In the opposite direction, the flights depart at Perth International Airport at 23:20 (local time) and land at Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) at 05:05 (local time) also on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Vietjet has extended its sales promotion, offering thousands of super tickets up for grabs every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday until December 31, 2023. This promotion is valid for all routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, and other international services.
