Avalon 25Vietjet is adding to its international flight network by launching new services and increasing the flight frequencies on routes linking Vietnam’s two largest cities with key Asian destinations. This expansion is expected to significantly boost air connectivity across the region, providing more affordable travel options during the year-end and new year festive season.

On November 28, 2024, Vietjet will kick off its new international service connecting Hanoi in Vietnam to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. The one daily round-trip service will serve as a gateway for travellers to explore the two culture-rich capital cities in Southeast Asia. This marks Vietjet’s second service between Vietnam and Malaysia, complementing the Ho Chi Minh City-Kuala Lumpur route, which also operates on a daily basis.

Further expanding its operations, Vietjet will resume the Ho Chi Minh City-Tainan route from December 12, 2024, linking Vietnam’s largest metropolis and economic hub with Taiwan’s historic city. This route will feature 3 weekly round-trip flights, reinforcing Vietjet’s position as the airline with the most extensive flight network between Vietnam and Taiwan.

Additionally, Vietjet is also ramping up its service linking Vietnam to Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Japan and South Korea to cater to the growing demand. Beginning October 27, 2024, the routes connecting Hanoi to Nagoya and Siem Reap, as well as Ho Chi Minh City to Vientiane, will all be increased to daily services, offering seven round-trip flights per week on each route. The airline will also boost its Hanoi-Busan route to 14 round-trip flights per week, up from 7 currently. Meanwhile, more flights will be added to the Ho Chi Minh City-Bali route, totaling 49 one-way flights per week.
