Vietjet announced increased frequencies on the direct routes from the island of Phu Quoc to Seoul and Taipei as international travel demand in the summer surges. Effective June 13, 2024, Vietjet elevates the direct connection between Phu Quoc and Seoul, from 2 to 3 return flights daily. New flights from Phu Quoc to Seoul take off at 20:35 (local time), land at Incheon International Airport at 4:00 the following day (local time). Conversely, flights from Incheon International Airport to Phu Quoc depart at 5:00 am (local time), and touch down at 8:25 am (local time).
From July 1, 2024, Vietjet amplifies the air link between Phu Quoc and Taipei, boosting frequencies from 7 to 11 return flights weekly. New flights from Phu Quoc to Taipei depart at 9:50 (local time), land at Taoyuan International Airport, Taipei, at 14:30 (local time) every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. On the other way, flights from Taipei to Phu Quoc take off at 16:00 and land at 18:40 (local time).

During the Reunification Day and International Labor Day holiday week starting from 27 April, Vietnam’s second longest holiday just after Lunar New Year, Vietjet is also adding an additional 86,000 seats, equivalent to over 450 flights among busiest tourist destinations, increasing the frequency of flights to and from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Danang, Nha Trang, and beyond.
