MRO DubaiVietjet’s flight network out of Vietnam’s capital city Hanoi will be further expanded by the launch of new direct route to Sydney. Following the newly-announced Hanoi – Melbourne route earlier this month, the Hanoi – Sydney service will also commence operation in June. With a flight time of around 10 hours per leg, the direct air links will cuts travel times significantly versus connecting itineraries, while offering more affordable travel options.

Launching on June 8, 2024, the Hanoi – Sydney route will operate twice weekly flights. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, travelers will enjoy convenient departures from Vietnam’s capital Hanoi and arrive in Australia’s vibrant global city Sydney the next day. The flights from Sydney will bring travel enthusiasts to the heart of Vietnam on Thursdays and Sundays to discover Northern Vietnam’s verdant landscapes.

The Hanoi – Melbourne route will start few days earlier, on June 3, 2024, operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays from Hanoi, arriving Melbourne later that day. Return flights depart Melbourne to Hanoi on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

In 2023 Vietjet expanded its flight network by adding 33 new international and domestic routes. Among these were the five new routes connecting Australia (Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney) to Vietnam.
