Tigerair Launches Direct Flights to Lucknow
Tigerair has expanded its footprint in India with its inaugural flight to Lucknow today. The airline is the only carrier to operate direct flights between Singapore and Lucknow. Flights operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday on Tigerair’s Airbus A320 aircraft.
Lucknow will be Tigerair’s 6th destination in India, in addition to Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi and Tiruchirapalli. Including the new flights to Lucknow, Tigerair will operate 44 services to India weekly. Promotional fares to Lucknow start from $149 with taxes.
Tigerair’s CEO, Lee Lik Hsin, said: “Tigerair is constantly looking to serve new destinations that will increase connectivity and travel options for our customers. Lucknow will appeal to travellers looking for a cultural adventure off the beaten path. In addition to being a historically rich destination in itself, Lucknow is also a gateway to both religious and world-renowned landmarks in Uttar Pradesh and nearby states. We hope that this new service will also bring more visitors from Uttar Pradesh to Singapore, and explore South East Asia and Australia from here.”
