An established and well-reputed business and product brand, Thompson has been renowned for its boundary-pushing, innovative designs and engineering since its founder, Mr James Thompson, started the company twenty years ago. Today, as part of the AVIC Cabin Systems group, the company’s drive and passion for innovation and distinctiveness remain ingrained in the DNA of its people.
Inspiration is the key to Thompson Aero Seating’s vision, with the company looking to create an inspired flying experience. Presented in a fresh and evolved manner, the strapline ‘Together, we inspire’, incorporates the creativeness, vision, and brilliance seen at every level of input to the business, and through partnerships with the business, along with its people-centric approach.
Andy Morris, recently appointed to a new role as Chief Commercial Officer at Thompson Aero Seating, says: “We have worked hard to channel our long-established ethics and integrity with a new level of operational excellence and innovation. The new website is now live at www.thompsonaero.com, where it is possible to view some of the partnerships forged between Thompson and its major airline customers, along with details on the progress of the new state-of-the-art dynamic test facility. The new logo will now start to appear on correspondence, social media, signage, uniforms and more. The full rebrand process will culminate with the stand at AIX Hamburg in June.
