Thai opts for OnPoint for its GE90-115B engines
Thai Airways has signed a 12-year OnPoint solution agreement for MRO of the GE90-115B engines that power its 14 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
OnPoint solutions are customized service agreements, provided by the engine manufacturer.
“With an engine manufacturer taking care of maintenance, Thai feels ensured of receiving the highest quality designed workscopes as well as supplied parts to always keep the engines in the best operating configurations and efficiency leading to smooth aircraft operation,” said Chalermpon Intarawong, Thai executive vice president, Technical Department.
