Chinese MRO operator TAECO has signed a contract to perform VIP cabin reconfiguration on the Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s Boeing 737-300s.
TAECO’s Completion Centre will perform work including Conceptual design and renderings; Cabin interior parts and monument fabricatio; and Reconfiguration and installation.
The conceptual design, parts fabrication, and installation will all be carried out at TAECO’s facility in Xiamen, Fujian province in southern China.
The first Boeing 737 will arrive in TAECO at the end of May and will be the first VIP reconfiguration that TAECO has carried out. TAECO has been performing heavy maintenance for Las Vegas Sands Corp. since 2009 and says the new deal is a “natural extension” of the relationship.
TAECO says it is Asia’s first and only Airbus approved and Boeing licensed VIP completion centre.
