TAE signs LRSF for Woodward TPE331 fuel and propeller components

TAE has signed a Licensed Repair Services Facility (LRSF) agreement with Woodward, covering the repair and overhaul of the latter’s engine fuel controls and the propeller governors for Honeywell’s TPE331 turboprop engine.

Australia-based TAE is able to combine the new Woodward TPE331 fuel control activity with its existing Honeywell TPE331 Engine Overhaul approval to position TAE as a Woodward and Honeywell approved MRO facility covering all aspects of the Honeywell TPE331 engine and now its Woodward components.

TAE will be combining the new Woodward capability with its existing fuel and electrical component maintenance activities in Adelaide to create a world-class Aviation Components maintenance operation with reach across Australasia, Asia-Pacific and the rest of the world.

“We are very excited to have been chosen by Woodward to represent them in our region” said general manager, Andrew Sanderson. “The ability to bring all these capabilities into one facility is unique and will allow us to provide our customers with an integrated maintenance service solution that covers all aspects of their engines; all with the backing of the OEM. We look forward to working with Woodward to expand our renowned level of quality customer service to this new capability.”
