TAE ADDS H80 CAPABILITY

Australian engine MRO provider TAE is to provide maintenance for the new GE Aviation H80 turboprop engine in the Asia- Pacific region.

“We are very excited to have been chosen by GE Aviation to represent them as the Asia
Pacific’s Designated Repair Center for the new H80 turboprop engine and the existing M601 engine fleet” said general manager, Andrew Sanderson. The H80 is an updated version of the M601.

Operating from four sites in Australia, TAE already provides engine maintenance services for the GE
F404/F414 jet engines, TPE331 and the PT6A turboprop engines and the APS500/APS1000 auxiliary
power units for military operators, regional airlines and the region’s agricultural aircraft.

TAE opened Australia’s newest engine maintenance facility in Adelaide in July 2012, and says the addition of this new engine maintenance capability makes TAE the largest independent turbine engine MRO provider in Australia.
