Stratos announces the recent delivery of two Airbus A320ceo aircraft on long-term operating lease to Turkish Airlines. This follows the successful placement of another two aircraft last year, further underscoring the strength of the partnership between Stratos and the flag carrier of Türkiye.
These deliveries support Turkish Airlines’ ongoing fleet expansion, enabling the airline to enhance its operational flexibility and sustain the growing demands of its global network and its commitment to global connectivity.
Camille Pousseur, EVP Airline Marketing at Stratos, mentioned: “We are proud to continue our collaboration with Turkish Airlines, a global leader in aviation. These additional A320ceos reflect the ongoing trust between our organizations, and we are excited to play a role in their continued growth and success.”
Stratos also announced the successful delivery of an Airbus A330-300 aircraft to Amazon. The aircraft will undergo passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion to support Amazon’s continued expansion in dedicated air cargo operations.
This transaction highlights Stratos’ deep expertise in placing mid-life widebody aircraft and its commitment to meeting rising demand from airlines for fleet adjustments in a highly constrained market.
The A330-300, formerly operated by Corsair, was transitioned smoothly thanks to close collaboration and excellent professionalism of the respective airlines teams involved.
Gary Fitzgerald, CEO of Stratos, commented: “We are delighted to have facilitated this transition from Corsair to Amazon. This placement showcases the strength of Stratos’ global network and our ability to source and dispose of high-quality assets tailored to the evolving needs of our clients. The A330 P2F market continues to gain momentum, and we’re proud to support this dynamic segment.”
