Following the recent increased frequency of its Los Angeles-Taipei route to daily service, STARLUX Airlines, a Taiwan-based luxury carrier, announced the launch of its second North American destination, with flights between San Francisco and Taipei debuting on December 16. Initially starting with three weekly flights, the SFO-TPE service is expected to ramp to daily next March. Reservations for the new route are now open for booking and below is the schedule:

To celebrate the grand opening, STARLUX Airlines has partnered with Sony, a leading figure in the audiovisual industry. From December 16th until December 31st, all First-Class passengers traveling from Taipei to San Francisco will receive a pair of Sony WH-1000XM5 wireless noise-canceling headphones.

First and Business offer individual sliding doors and seats with a Zero G mode to alleviate travel fatigue. Launched in 2020, STARLUX is a luxury airline based in Taipei now serving 19 destinations: Los Angeles, Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Okinawa, Sapporo, Sendai, Macau, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Macau, Da Nang, Hanoi, Manila, Cebu, and Clark. The airlines will launch service to Nagoya, Japan December 1.
