Globally, RECARO hired more than 200 new employees over the past year to aid in the forecasted aviation industry ramp-up. To prepare for this increase, space2grow initiatives have been taking place across the globe to manage upcoming demand. This includes a site expansion at RECARO Aircraft Seating Polska which will feature a new production and office building to be completed the second half of 2026. Additionally, the German operations facility will increase test seat production capacity by 60% and expanded its production site accordingly.

To further meet customer demand, a customer service presence will be established in the first quarter of 2026 in Delhi, India. To continue building upon their premium reputation, RECARO has also been advancing technologies and capabilities within their business class segment. Including the preparation and training of operations and customer service teams to meet the higher volume output over the coming years.

With this increase in demand, RECARO has also solidified a Supplier Furnished Equipment (SFE) contract with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Embraer. Announced in 2023, the partnership between the two companies has enabled seamless delivery to continue driving comfort in the sky. Furthermore, three RECARO sites have successfully delivered customer programs of the new, innovative lightweight-design and award-winning R3 economy class long range seat. Additionally, the latest customer survey showcased an increase in customer satisfaction and confirmed a high, positive level of satisfaction among customers.

“The global RECARO Aircraft Seating team has been dedicatedly going the extra mile and jointly achieved a great success by reaching the 2024 revenue in October of this year,” said Dr. Mark Hiller, CEO of RECARO Holding and RECARO Aircraft Seating. “RECARO is experiencing double-digit growth and continues to invest in the space2grow initiative with its expansion activities at all sites. I am beyond proud of the RECARO team’s achievement.”
