Vietjet launches direct Nha Trang–Singapore service

Vietjet officially announced a new direct route connecting Nha Trang to Singapore at the Vietnam–Singapore Tech Connect Forum 2026 on May 29. The new service further expands Vietjet’s strategic network between Vietnam and one of Asia’s leading aviation, financial and connectivity hubs. Earlier, in March 2025, Vietjet also announced its direct Singapore–Phu Quoc route. Scheduled to commence on December 11, 2026, with four round-trip flights per week operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the Nha Trang–Singapore route will provide greater travel convenience for residents and visitors while creating new opportunities for international travelers to access Nha Trang, one of Asia’s premier coastal destinations. Direct air links between Vietnam’s high-potential destinations and Asia’s leading economic centers such as Singapore are contributing to the development of new growth corridors for tourism, commerce, investment and international connectivity.” Air India Express starts Bengaluru-Phuket flights Air India Express has commenced direct flights between Bengaluru and Phuket. This launch further expands Air India Express’ footprint in Thailand, complementing the Bengaluru–Bangkok service introduced in October last year. Air India Express operates close to 500 weekly flights from Bengaluru, offering direct connectivity to 31 domestic and 8 international destinations. This expansion is part of Air India Express’ continued focus on strengthening international connectivity from key Indian metros to high-demand leisure destinations across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Air India Express was recently honoured as ‘Airline of the Year’ in both the Domestic and International categories at Bengaluru Airport’s Pinnacle Awards. The airline also received the Domestic Connectivity Award at Wings India 2026, constituted by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in collaboration with the Airports Authority of India and FICCI, recognising its role in enhancing connectivity and expanding access to air travel across India.
