ST Engineering extends CFM56-7B MRO deal with Lion Group

ST Engineering announced that its commercial aerospace business has signed a new five-year agreement for CFM56-7B engine maintenance with PT Lion Group, the largest airline in Indonesia. The agreement is an extension of an existing exclusive contract signed between ST Engineering and PT Lion Group in May 2020. Under the new agreement, ST Engineering will provide the full suite of engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services to additional CFM56-7B engines which power Lion Air, Batik Air, Batik Air Malaysia and Thai Lion Air’s fleets of Boeing 737-Next Generation aircraft. In addition to these MRO services, engine wash services will be provided using ST Engineering’s unique EcoPower wash system. Dennis Kirana, PT Batam Aero Technic Asst.
