Rotortrade announced the successful delivery of three Airbus H145 D3 pre-owned helicopters to Search and Rescue Services (SRSL), supporting the continued expansion and modernisation of New Zealand’s emergency air ambulance capability. The aircraft, delivered over recent months, represent a significant enhancement to SRSL’s fleet and operational readiness. The Airbus H145 D3, widely recognised as the global benchmark for emergency medical services, provides advanced performance, reliability, and mission flexibility, enabling crews to operate safely and efficiently across New Zealand’s diverse and demanding environments. This milestone reflects the continued investment by SRSL, its regional Trust partners, Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, and ACC New Zealand in strengthening the country’s lifesaving aviation infrastructure and ensuring communities have access to critical emergency medical services when and where they are needed most. SRSL is continuing to grow, expanding its fleet and operational capabilities, including the installation of a new state-of-the-art H145 FNPT II MCC simulator at its Taupō training centre. This investment in advanced training infrastructure further reinforces SRSL’s commitment to operational excellence and the continuous development of its pilots, critical care paramedics, and crews. Marcello Corrado Salati, Regional Sales Director at Rotortrade, said: “It has been a privilege to support SRSL through these aircraft deliveries, and I would personally like to thank Paul Baxter and the entire SRSL team for their trust and collaboration. The dedication and professionalism of their organization are exceptional, and it is clear that their mission goes far beyond aviation. Our teams have naturally established a strong and transparent working relationship, and we are proud to contribute, in our own capacity, to supporting the vital work they perform every day across New Zealand.” Paul Baxter, CEO of SRSL, added: “These aircraft represent a critical investment in our ability to deliver advanced emergency medical care to communities across New Zealand. Rotortrade has been a trusted and responsive partner throughout this process, and their support has helped ensure the smooth integration of these helicopters into our fleet as we continue to expand our operational capability.” Aurélien Blanc, Executive Director and Vice President APAC/MEA at Rotortrade, added: “SRSL’s continued growth, combined with its investment in both fleet and training infrastructure, reflects a clear vision and long-term commitment to operational excellence. We are honoured to support such a dedicated organization and contribute to strengthening emergency air ambulance capabilities in the region.” For Editorial Inquiries Contact: Editor Matt Driskill at [email protected] For Advertising Inquiries Contact: Head of Sales Sally Passey at [email protected]
