Malaysian Flying Academy buys ALSIM AL250

ALSIM announced that the Malaysian Flying Academy has made its second acquisition of an ALSIM AL250 simulator. The AL250 simulator addresses initial phase training needs (PPL, CPL, IR/ME) and is SEP/MEP reconfigurable simulator certified as an EASA FNPT II. In addition, it offers both classic and glass cockpit instrumentation for each flight model at the simple flick of a switch. This device has been extremely well received since its creation and more than 80 of these have already been installed and are in successful operation worldwide. Captain Roy, Malaysian Flying Academy’s Accountable Manager, explains, “While simulator training is not a panacea for the problem of pilot training and the affordability of such training in the aviation industry, having a robust ground training solution makes a huge cost difference. At Malaysian Flying Academy, we have the advantage of having not one, not two, but three fully certified and approved flight and navigation procedures trainers at our facility. Today, we are pleased to announce the commissioning of our second ALSIM simulator, AL250, which replaces one of our older simulators. The flexibility and reliability of our existing ALSIM trainer and the quality of support provided by ALSIM have ensured that we look no further when it comes to upgrading our capabilities.” Nicolas Fabriès, ALSIM’s Sales Account Manager emphasizes:” We are very glad that Malaysian Flying Academy has once again chosen ALSIM. It’s been an absolute pleasure to deal with the team at MFA and we are committed to bringing our customers the best possible training tool. We look forward to taking this long-time partnership with Malaysian Flying Academy to the next level with this new FSTD.” Malaysian Flying Academy is a pioneer among the Aviation Training Organisations in Malaysia and is approved and accredited by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and recognised by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The MFA’s location adjacent to the Melaka International Airport, with direct access to the runway, allows its cadets to be exposed to real-life experiences of a fully operational airport environment. Proximity from KL International Airport and Singapore makes MFA at Melaka an easy choice for local and foreign applicants.
