Lufthansa Technik to train SAMC Technicians Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Company (SAMC) has signed an MOU with Lufthansa Technik (LHT) subsidiary, Lufthansa Technical Training, to form a closer strategic partnership in the on-the-job training of skilled technicians. This will include training system development, new staff training, advanced training for skilled technicians and training facility planning. The services will be delivered in a joint-education program with modules from Lufthansa Technical Training used to implement a modern platform for on-the-job training of SAMC employees. SAMC, a subsidiary of COMAC, is responsible for the production of the ARJ21, C919 and C929 aircraft. It provides services in four main units – final assembly, component and parts fabrication, MRO and composite material. The MOU was signed at Zhuhai in November.
