Kyra Lounge adds second location at HKIA

Premium lounge brand Kyra, a venture from Airport Dimensions, SSP and Travel Food Services Limited (TFS), is expanding its footprint in the Asia Pacific region with a second space at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). The lounge builds on the strong performance of the first Kyra Lounge, opened in Summer 2024, reflecting rising demand for enhanced airport hospitality across one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets. Situated in Terminal 1’s West Hall near Gate 40, the 1,200-square-metre lounge will offer seating for 230 guests along with a variety of dining, relaxation and work-friendly areas. Kyra started welcoming travellers into a contemporary space reflective of the brand’s signature elevated and design-led aesthetic from 10 January. The first Kyra Lounge at HKIA has already gained strong recognition, including winning Asia Pacific Lounge of the Year 2025 in the Priority Pass Excellence Awards and being named Asia’s Leading Airport Lounge 2025 at the World Travel Awards, signaling significant demand for the Kyra experience both within and beyond Hong Kong. The strong performance of the first Kyra Lounge reflects the strength of the three-way partnership, with Airport Dimensions, SSP and TFS working in concert to create a compelling, guest-focused airport experience, aligned with the expectations of today’s travellers. With the second Kyra offering, the partners are poised to build on that momentum,  to create another standout space for guests at HKIA. Airport Dimensions provides the overarching design nous and guest-experience vision, ensuring consistency as the Kyra brand expands. SSP, a global leader in travel dining, brings culinary creativity and robust operational capability. TFS contributes regional hospitality and operational excellence to support the delivery of a smooth, premium experience. Kyra Lounge is open to all travellers at Hong Kong International Airport, regardless of airline or ticket class, offering a premium hospitality experience for every journey. Access is available to Priority Pass members, the world’s leading airport lounge and travel experiences program, as well as LoungeKey cardholders. Travellers can also purchase entry online or at the lounge, subject to availability. Errol McGlothan, President EMEA & APAC at Airport Dimensions, said: “Having a second Kyra Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport within such a short timeframe is a milestone we are extremely proud of. It reflects not only the appetite from travellers for high-quality airport experiences, but also the strength of our partnership with SSP and TFS. APAC continues to be a major growth region for Airport Dimensions, and Hong Kong is a strategic hub where we see tremendous opportunity. With this new lounge, we are expanding our vision for Kyra and offering even more guests an experience that is both welcoming and distinctly reflective of the region.” Jonathan Robinson, CEO, SSP Asia Pacific, said: “We’re delighted to extend the Kyra experience at Hong Kong International Airport alongside Airport Dimensions and TFS.
