Honda names new ASC for HondaJet

Honda Aircraft Company said Straight Flight in the US will serve as the Authorised Service Centre (ASC) for HondaJet aircraft based out of the Northwest service region, including Wyoming, Colorado, and Utah. Straight Flight LLC is based out of Centennial Airport, in Denver, Colorado and has over three decades of experience and a proven reputation for service reliability.  Straight Flight’s operations in Denver include 55,000 square feet of hangar space and 20,000 square feet of back-shop and support areas.  Their maintenance team includes more than 50 skilled professionals supporting a high-volume of aircraft maintenance operations. “We are excited to be partnering with such an experienced and capable maintenance group to support our growing HondaJet fleet,” said Honda Aircraft Company Senior Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer Amod Kelkar.  “We are confident that this move will serve to strengthen our global service network and enhance the HondaJet customer experience.  We look forward to working with Straight Flight for many years to come.” HondaJet service in the northwest territory was previously handled by Elevate Aviation Group.  The term of Honda Aircraft Company’s agreement with Elevate ended in January 2026.  Straight Flight’s location in Denver is anticipated to provide enhanced convenience for HondaJet operators in the region.  Honda Aircraft Company’s global service network supports operators around the world with 21 facilities across North and South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, China, and Japan. Vantage Aviation expands FBO network Vantage Aviation has expanded in western Pennsylvania with the acquisition of fixed-base operations (FBO) at Allegheny County Airport (AGC), serving Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. The AGC location, formerly operated by Corporate Air, is the sixth of the growing Vantage Aviation FBO Network – all since the fall 2024 launch of the company. “The acquisition of the Corporate Air FBO at Allegheny County Airport represents an important milestone for Vantage Aviation,” said CEO Ryan Maxfield. “AGC is a critical business aviation airport, and this transaction allows us to strengthen our presence in a market with sustained demand from corporate, charter and owner-flown operators.” Vantage Aviation’s AGC facility gives corporate and general aviation aircraft owners and travellers the closest access to downtown Pittsburgh, with ramp space to accommodate even the largest ultra-long-range business jets. The 24-hour facility includes 110,000 square feet of hangar space, an 11,600-sq-ft FBO terminal and office space of more than 24,000 square feet. In addition, Vantage Aviation also offers aircraft management and charter services at AGC. It plans to launch a renovation of the facility later this year. Vantage Aviation acquired the assets of Corporate Air, following that company’s bankruptcy filing in 2025. “This transaction enhances our ability to support based aircraft, transient charter traffic, and managed fleets with a seamless customer experience,” Maxfield added. “Allegheny County Airport continues to play a vital role in the region’s business aviation activity, and we’re excited to be part of its continued growth.” The AGC location, which will be in demand for this spring’s NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, joins Vantage Aviation FBOs in Duluth, MN; Greenville, SC; Richmond, VA and one being constructed in Rifle, CO, coming online later this year.
