HK’s Plaza Premium names new SVP

•Apr 5, 2026Hong Kong-based Plaza Premium Group (PPG) has appointed Eric Pateman as Senior Vice President, North America, strengthening the group’s leadership across Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. In this role, he oversees regional performance, commercial development, partner relations and operational delivery across PPG’s North American portfolio. Eric Pateman Pateman brings extensive leadership experience in airport commercial strategy, guest experience transformation and brand development. He most recently served as Chief Experience Officer at Vancouver International Airport (YVR), where he led and oversaw a broad, multi‑disciplinary team responsible for commercial performance and guest experience. During his tenure, Vancouver International Airport secured the #1 Airport in North America (Skytrax 2024 & 2025) and ranked within the Top 15 airports globally. Before joining the aviation industry, Pateman held international advisory roles, guiding governments, cities and Fortune 500 companies on experience‑led development initiatives across all seven continents. He also brings over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience having owned and run numerous companies. He holds an MBA in Finance from Oxford Brookes University. Plaza Premium Group operates a large network of airport lounges worldwide with 14 brands in its portfolio. It operates in 150 countries across 600 international and domestic airports and serving 30 million passengers annually.
