Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced continued strategic investments in its global materials network, expanding spare parts inventory, distribution capabilities, and repair and overhaul operations to support the growing Gulfstream fleet. Gulfstream’s dedicated spare parts inventory has grown significantly and now represents an investment of more than $3 billion. This investment ensures parts are readily available and aircraft needs are addressed quickly, keeping customers supported throughout their aircraft ownership experience. “As our fleet continues to grow around the world, we are making strategic investments in inventory, infrastructure and expertise that further strengthen our ability to support customers wherever they operate,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. “By increasing parts availability, we’re providing customers with greater confidence that the resources they need are available when and where they need them.” As part of these efforts, Gulfstream has also continued investing in its global distribution center network, which now includes 12 locations. Recent growth includes expansion of the company’s Atlanta distribution center, which has more than doubled in size and is now Gulfstream’s largest distribution facility outside of its Savannah headquarters. The Atlanta facility now houses approximately $190 million in spare parts inventory following a 65% increase in inventory value this year alone. Similar investments have been made at Gulfstream’s service center in Mesa, Arizona, where spare parts inventory has grown by 25% over the past year and is now valued at more than $48 million. Just one year after its official opening, Gulfstream’s Texas Repair and Overhaul Center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area has significantly expanded its in-house component support capabilities, increasing capacity for wheels and brakes, structures, paint, non-destructive testing, hydraulics and Gulfstream G650 landing gear assemblies. The center is also broadening its scope to include Gulfstream G500 and G600 hydraulic and landing gear components. To support these expanded capabilities, the on-site team has grown by more than 50% over the past year. Internationally, Gulfstream maintains forward-stocking spare parts locations in Singapore and Amsterdam to support customers across the Asia-Pacific region and Europe. Together with the company’s U.S. facilities, these strategically located hubs position critical inventory closer to customers, enabling faster access to parts and reinforcing Gulfstream’s commitment to responsive, world-class support across the globe.
