Garuda Indonesia commences engine MRO work with SR Technics

SR Technics announced the commencement of maintenance services for selected CFM56 engines operated by Garuda Indonesia, Indonesia’s national flag carrier. The cooperation supports Garuda Indonesia’s operational requirements through dedicated engine maintenance services and established MRO capabilities. Through its Zurich-based engine maintenance operations, SR Technics provides maintenance support for selected CFM56 engines operated by Garuda Indonesia. Honeywell Aerospace, Garuda Indonesia agree on APU support Honeywell Aerospace has signed a three-year agreement with PT Garuda Indonesia to provide repair and maintenance services for Honeywell Aerospace’s 131-9B, 331-350 and 331-500 auxiliary power unit (APU) models across Garuda Indonesia’s aircraft fleet. “Consistent, predictable maintenance support is critical in helping airlines plan maintenance effectively and keep their fleets operating reliably,” said Eric Ai, president, Asia Pacific, Honeywell Aerospace. “This agreement enables Honeywell Aerospace to provide that support to Garuda Indonesia through a clear multi-year framework and represents an important next step in our longstanding relationship focused on supporting the airline’s operational needs.” Mukhtaris, director of maintenance of Garuda Indonesia said, “As we continue our transformation journey, we remain focused on strengthening our operational capabilities including optimising APU reliability as a part of our effort in maintaining aircraft readiness. The agreement supports FL Technics Indonesia’s continued expansion of its MRO capabilities and service offerings for airline customers in Indonesia, while reinforcing GE Aerospace’s commitment to the region’s evolving aviation maintenance needs through avionics expertise and responsive service solutions.
