Boeing, Lucky Air sign pilot training agreement

Boeing and Kunming-based airline Lucky Air have signed an agreement in which Boeing will provide pilot training services to the carrier, including the use of its 737NG and 737 MAX full-flight simulators at the Boeing Shanghai training campus, located near Shanghai Pudong International Airport. “Boeing is pleased to provide Lucky Air with the industry’s highest quality training services for the pilots of its 737 fleet,” said Peter Gao, vice president, Commercial Sales and Marketing for China, The Boeing Company. “We look forward to welcoming Lucky Air pilots to our state-of-the-art Shanghai training campus where they will complete their training.” Boeing’s relationship with Lucky Air stretches back more than 15 years to the airline’s launching in 2005. The carrier is a member of HNA Group and currently operates a fleet that includes 34 Boeing 737 single-aisle aircraft, providing service to more than 80 destinations in different countries.
