BOC Aviation signs new lease deal with AJet

BOC Aviation announced that it has placed five Airbus A321NEO aircraft from the company’s orderbook with AJet. All aircraft will be powered by Pratt & Whitney GTF engines and are scheduled to deliver in 2028. “We are pleased to further strengthen our long-standing relationship with the Turkish Airlines Group by extending our partnership to include its rapidly growing family member, AJet,” said Paul Kent, Chief Commercial Officer, BOC Aviation. “These new-generation A321NEO aircraft will complement AJet’s existing fleet, enhancing its continued network expansion across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, and we look forward to supporting its success in the years ahead.” Kerem Sarp, AJet CEO, commented: “We are delighted to begin our cooperation with BOC Aviation through this agreement. This agreement represents an important step in our commitment to expanding our network and providing an even better travel experience for our guests.” BOC Aviation also announced its operational transactions for the second quarter ended 30 June 2026. The company reported a total portfolio of 811 aircraft and engines owned, managed and on order and an average aircraft age of 5.0 years and an average remaining lease term of 7.7 years for the 467 owned aircraft fleet. The company also reported an orderbook of 320 aircraft and one engine and a customer base of 88 airlines in 45 countries and regions in the owned and managed portfolios. BOC Aviation also reported owned aircraft utilisation maintained at 100% and said it executed 50 transactions in the second quarter of 2026, including a commitment to purchase nine aircraft and one engine, the delivery of 14 aircraft and one engine, sales of eight owned and two managed aircraftand 13 lease commitments.
