BeauTech Power Systems announced the signing of a 10-year engine leasing framework agreement with Group Engine Management GmbH (“GEMˮ), the Lufthansa Group’s dedicated engine management company. GEM is responsible for the allocation, maintenance coordination, and lifecycle oversight of aircraft engines across the Lufthansa Group’s airline portfolio. The agreement provides GEM with access to BeauTech’s engine leasing capabilities as part of its strategy to secure reliable access to engine assets that support operational flexibility and fleet requirements. The framework is expected to support future leasing opportunities across a variety of commercial aircraft engine platforms, including CF34, CFM56, GTF and LEAP engines. The framework agreement establishes a strategic basis for future engine lease transactions between the parties and reflects their shared commitment to supporting airline operations in an increasingly dynamic aviation environment. “This agreement represents an important milestone in the relationship between BeauTech and GEM,” said Tobias Konrad, Chief Operating Officer of BeauTech. “The Lufthansa Group has been a valued partner since BeauTech’s early days and has played an important role in the development of our business. We are proud to support GEM with flexible and reliable engine leasing solutions, and this agreement underscores the trust that has been built between our organizations over many years of successful cooperation.” Michael Kaye, Managing Director of Group Engine Management GmbH, added: “Access to reliable engine capacity is an important component of supporting the operational requirements of the Lufthansa Group airlines. This agreement strengthens our ability to respond to changing fleet and maintenance needs while working with a trusted and experienced leasing partner.” For Editorial Inquiries Contact: Editor Matt Driskill at [email protected] For Advertising Inquiries Contact: Head of Sales Sally Passey at [email protected]
