ALSIM announced the sale of an AL250 simulator to ADMAL Flying Academy that will boost ADMAL’s Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL/IR) and Frozen ATPL training programme. The AL250 simulator addresses the initial phase of training needs (PPL, CPL, Instrument and Multi Engine ratings) and is a SEP/MEP reconfigurable simulator certified as an EASA FNPT II, FAA AATD and Transport Canada FTD Level 2 with IPC capability. In addition, it offers both analog and glass cockpits for each aircraft at the simple flick of a switch. This device has been extremely well received since its creation, with more than 125 units installed and operating successfully worldwide. “Recently, ADMAL engaged with ALSIM for the acquisition of the ALSIM AL250 mainly to strengthen our current training program and bring advanced standards to basic-level training. The new simulator will be deployed to enhance the academy’s flight training, giving cadets access to realistic, repeatable procedural and instrument training while they progress to ADMAL’s fleet of Piper Warrior and Piper Seneca aircraft. Investing in the ALSIM AL250 reflects our commitment to giving ADMAL cadets training that matches modern airline standards. It gives us a safe, cost-efficient way to build handling and instrument skills to a consistently high level before cadets ever step into one of our aircraft, and it reinforces our position as the only ATO in the region offering the complete CPL/IR and Frozen ATPL pathway alongside our own maintenance and engineering training,” said Adam Malek, Chief Operating Officer at ADMAL Flying Academy. Maximilien Le Moing, Sales Manager at ALSIM, said:” It has been a pleasure working with Adam and the ADMAL Flying Academy team on this project. We quickly identified the AL250 as a good fit for their training needs, especially with the flexibility to cover both single-engine and multi-engine training. It is also great to see another training organization in Southeast Asia investing in modern simulation technology to support the next generation of pilots. I am very happy to welcome ADMAL Flying Academy to the ALSIM community and look forward to supporting their development in Malaysia in the coming years.” FTEJerez and ALSIM advance pilot training with the AL42 at FTE’s UK base ALSIM is supporting the continued expansion of FTEJerez into the United Kingdom with the installation of an AL42 Diamond DA42 simulator at its training base at London Oxford Airport. The simulator will enhance the academy’s training capabilities, supporting students throughout their CPL and Instrument Rating training. The AL42 is an exact replica of the Diamond DA42-VI, built using genuine aircraft parts and equipped with the authentic Garmin G1000 NXI. It also features the latest-generation image generator (VFR-VS), a GFC 700 autopilot, and a force-feedback system that ensures enhanced realism. The simulator can also be equipped with either analogue or glass (EFIS) backup instruments. The AL42 model is designed for PPL, CPL and IR/ME training in compliance with current UK CAA FNPT II regulatory standards. The simulator features a new instructor cabin, specifically designed to enhance instructors’ working environment through improved visibility of both the cockpit and the visual system, greater comfort and a more focused setting with the option to close the cabin. The optimised layout, wider desk and a dedicated two-seat observer bench further improve functionality during training sessions.
