Akasa Air adds Kozhikode to network

Akasa Air announced the addition of Kozhikode (Calicut) as the 30th overall and 24th domestic destination to its network. Starting 1 October 2025, Akasa Air will operate daily direct flights between Mumbai and Kozhikode, creating a vital new corridor between India’s financial capital and the Malabar coast. Kozhikode, the city of sculptures, has long been known for its cultural heritage, scenic attractions, and thriving trade. The expansion will cater to the strong travel demand that flows between coastal Southern India and the nation’s principal metropolitan centres further stimulating tourism and commerce.
